Bible Reading Judges 6:25–32
Memory verse: 1 Kings 18:30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.
Altars are spiritual platforms where humanity meets divinity, places of sacrifice, worship, covenant, and Spiritual influence. Altars speak, altars claim, altars empower, and altars control. They are spiritual gateways that determine what operates in families, territories, and destinies. An ancient altar is a long-standing spiritual structure, godly or ungodly, established by previous generations, culture, territorial spirits, or personal actions. Evil altars demand sacrifices, enforce negative patterns, recycle afflictions, and resist divine progress. They often operate through: Ancestral covenants, Repetitive family cycles, Territorial strongholds, Idolatrous practices, Bloodline pronouncements.
These altars enforce curses, delay destinies, derail marriages, limit potential, and restrict financial progress. They create invisible barriers that fight breakthroughs at the gate. Gideon destroyed his father’s altar Judges 6:25–27. Hezekiah broke ancient altars 2 Chronicles 31:1. Elijah repaired and raised a godly altar 1 Kings 18:30–39. Through Christ’s blood, every evil covenant is overturned and a superior covenant is established Hebrews 12:24.
To raise a new altar is to establish a divine point of agreement with God through worship, prayer, obedience, sacrifice, and consecration. New altars shift atmospheres, release blessings, and birth generational transformations. A new covenantal altar: Opens gates of favor, Speaks protection, Releases generational blessings, Judges evil foundations, Establishes divine identity and destiny.
You cannot break ancient altars without raising a superior altar. As Elijah demonstrated, you silence demonic altars by establishing God’s altar of fire.
COVENANT GATE HYMNALS 29: SS&S 642:: WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD
Prayers:
- “Pray to Expose Hidden Ancient Altars”
Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law”.
Most altars operates through secrecy, hidden agreements, unknown covenants, and invisible spiritual transactions. Ancient altars thrive when the patterns they produce remain unrecognized: recurring delay, sickness, poverty, near-success failures, and generational bondage. But God reveals secrets to set His children free. Once an altar is exposed, its power weakens. Spiritual victory begins when God shines light on what the enemy has hidden. Revelation is the doorway to dismantling captivity.
Prayer Lord, expose every hidden altar fighting my destiny. Reveal secrets behind long-standing battles and grant me divine understanding to overthrow them permanently in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Pray to Break Generational Bloodline Altars”
Ezekiel 18:2–4 “The soul that sinneth, it shall die… the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father…”
Generational altars draw strength from family patterns, what defeated fathers aims to defeat children. Cycles like late marriage, premature death, barrenness, addiction, and poverty often trace to altars erected before one’s birth. But God declares that each soul can stand independently in Christ. When you confront bloodline altars with the authority of redemption, generational chains break and the pattern stops with you.
Prayer: By the blood of Jesus, I disconnect my life from every generational altar enforcing negative patterns. I declare my freedom and release in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
- “Pray to Destroy Altars Speaking Against Your Destiny”
Numbers 23:23 “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel…”
Some altars actively speak, pronouncing delays, failure, confusion, and limitation. Balaam attempted to curse Israel from multiple altars. The enemy still uses voices, projections, and enchantments to place invisible barriers on destinies. But in Christ, no divination can stand. When you silence the speaking altars through prayer and declaration, every negative voice loses authority, and your destiny aligns with God’s design.
Prayer: I silence every altar speaking failure, delay, or confusion over my destiny. By the blood of Jesus, I cancel all negative pronouncements in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Pray to Break Foundational Strongholds”
Psalms 11:3 “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
Altars form the foundations upon which families, communities, and destinies stand. When foundations are corrupt, life becomes unstable, good things collapse, relationships fail, and breakthroughs scatter. Foundational battles often appear normal but operate deeply. God empowers believers to uproot ancient foundations and rebuild according to His pattern. Restoring foundations is the first step toward lasting victory.
Prayer: Lord, repair and rebuild every damaged foundation of my life. Uproot evil structures and establish me on Your unshakeable foundation in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Pray to Nullify Ancestral Sacrifices”
Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ… purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
Altars gain power through sacrifices, blood, pledges, vows, and rituals made knowingly or unknowingly. These sacrifices give legal grounds for oppression, stagnation, and repeated affliction. But the ultimate sacrifice, Christ’s blood, is superior to every ancestral offering. His blood speaks better things and cancels every satanic transaction. Praying with understanding breaks the legal claims of evil sacrifices.
Prayer: By the superior blood of Jesus, I nullify every ancestral sacrifice empowering evil altars against me. I cancel their legal rights forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Pray to Break Covens, Evil Meetings & Consultations”
Isaiah 54:15 “Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.”
Evil altars empower evil gatherings, consultations where decisions are made against a person’s progress. These unseen meetings determine setbacks, sickness, accidents, and rising-and-falling cycles. But God promises that such gatherings shall fall for your sake. When believers stand in authority, wicked meetings scatter and their agreements crumble. God becomes your defender and advocate at every spiritual gate.
Prayer: Father, scatter every evil gathering, consultation, or meeting held against my life. Let their decisions backfire and their plans fail completely in Jesus’ mighty name.
- “Pray to Break Altars of Delay and Stagnation”
Daniel 10:12–13 “…but the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days…”
Delay is often a sign of spiritual resistance at the gate of manifestation. Just as the prince of Persia resisted angelic release, evil altars resist breakthroughs. These altars create cycles of waiting without results—prayers unanswered, opportunities blocked, and progress slowed. When altars of delay break, things begin to move speedily and long-awaited answers finally manifest.
Prayer: Every altar enforcing delay and stagnation over my life, break by fire. I command my divine release and speedy manifestation now in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Breaking Altars of Repeated Battles”
Ecclesiastes 3:15 “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.”
Repeated battles of same sickness, same crisis, same disappointments often signal an altar enforcing cycles. What you overcame yesterday tries to return tomorrow because ancient patterns demand repetition. But God demands what is past, meaning He confronts old cycles and brings them under judgment. Through Christ, you break the cycle and stop battles that keep resurfacing. Once the altar enforcing repetition collapses, the cycle permanently ends.
Prayer: Every altar enforcing repeated battles in my life and family, break forever. I end every negative cycle and enter new victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Breaking Altars of Poverty and Financial Captivity”
2 Corinthians 8:9 “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.”
Financial captivity is often spiritual before it becomes physical. Poverty altars enforce lack, wasted resources, sudden financial attacks, and inability to advance. But Jesus became poor so we could inherit true kingdom prosperity. When you confront financial altars, you disconnect from systems of lack and align with divine provision. Altars limiting career, business, and financial favor break under the authority of Christ’s redemptive sacrifice.
Prayer: By Christ’s redemptive sacrifice, I break every altar enforcing poverty, lack, or financial limitation. I enter abundance, divine increase, and sustained prosperity in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- “Breaking Altars of Sickness and Infirmity”
Isaiah 53:5 “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
Some sicknesses are not medical, they are spiritual. Altars enforce hereditary diseases, recurring afflictions, mysterious pains, and sudden attacks at strategic moments. These altars draw strength from ancestral covenants and negative declarations. But Christ’s stripes carry superior healing power that destroys the spiritual root of infirmity. When healing is enforced at the altar level, symptoms disappear and long-standing afflictions lose their grip.
Prayer: By the stripes of Jesus, I break altars enforcing sickness and infirmity in my body and family. Perfect healing manifests now in Jesus’ name.
- “Breaking Altars of Untimely Death”
Psalm 118:17 “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”
Untimely death is one of the strongest operations of evil altars. It claims people before their appointed time through accidents, strange illnesses, sudden tragedies, or repeated family deaths. But God’s Word declares life, not premature death. When you confront death altars, you enforce divine preservation and cancel demonic timetables. Life becomes your covenant, and death loses jurisdiction over your destiny.
Prayer: Every altar demanding my life or the life of my loved ones is destroyed. I choose life, longevity, and divine preservation in Jesus’ name.
- “Breaking Altars of Marital Delay & Family Battles”
Psalm 68:6 “God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.”
Many marital delays and family crises are altar-induced. Altars enforce confusion, heartbreak, divorce, and relationship failure. Others enforce delay, invisibility, or stagnation in marital destiny. But God sets the solitary into families, meaning marriage is a divine placement, not a human accident. When altars resisting marital breakthrough collapse, the doors of divine settlement open and God’s order is restored.
Prayer: Every altar resisting my marital settlement or attacking my family, break by fire. Lord, establish Your divine order in my home and destiny in Jesus’ name.
- “Breaking Altars of Failure at the Edge of Breakthrough”
Deuteronomy 28:13 “And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them.”
Failure at the edge of breakthrough is a major sign of altars fighting destiny. Just when success is near, something fails, interviews collapse, contracts vanish, helpers withdraw. This is spiritual manipulation at the gate of manifestation. But God destined you for headship, not defeat. When altars enforcing last-minute disappointment crumble, you begin to experience sustained success without interference.
Prayer: I break every altar enforcing last-minute failure. I decree unbroken success, divine completion, and unstoppable advancement in Jesus’ mighty name.
- “Breaking Altars of Confusion and Spiritual Blindness”
Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Altars of confusion attack discernment and decision-making. They cause wrong choices, constant mistakes, and spiritual blindness. When the enemy blinds a person, he can easily mislead them. But God promises divine guidance, instruction, and clarity. When these altars break, spiritual vision is restored, confusion disappears, and divine direction becomes clear. You begin to make decisions aligned with God’s plan.
Prayer: Lord, break every altar producing confusion or spiritual blindness. Restore my discernment and guide me clearly into Your perfect will in Jesus’ name.
Declarations
In the mighty name of Jesus, I stand today under the authority of the Blood of the Lamb, and I declare that every ancient altar speaking against your life, your family, your destiny, and your lineage is broken. I renounce every agreement, oath, promise, dedication, or sacrifice, known or unknown made on your behalf. By the supremacy of the Cross, I disconnect you from every ancestral throne that has contended with your progress, health, calling, and inheritance.
I decree that every evil priesthood servicing these altars loses their assignment, their power, and their influence over you. The fire of the Holy Ghost descends now to consume every platform where your name, your DNA, your possessions, or your destiny has been placed. I silence the voice of every ancient altar, altars of delay, poverty, stagnation, limitation, sickness, and backwardness. Their verdicts are overturned by the blood that speaks better things than the blood of Abel.
Now, in the name of Jesus, I raise new covenants, covenants of life, mercy, favor, divine health, breakthrough, and generational blessings. I establish the covenant of the Blood of Jesus over your household, my children, my future, and my purpose. I decree that only the will of God shall stand in my life. From today, you are walking in freedom, dominion, and divine alignment. Your gates are secured, your path is blessed, and your future is restored.
For all our Partners, in the name of Jesus, I speak blessing, strength, and divine increase over every partner connected to this Ministry. May the covenant of grace rest upon your household, your work, and your destiny. I declare open doors, supernatural provision, and divine protection over all that concerns you. May every seed you sow multiply a hundredfold. As you partner with God’s assignment, may Heaven partner with your life. You will not lack, you will not fail, and you will not be stranded. The Lord surround you with favor, establish your steps, and reward your faithfulness abundantly in Jesus’ name. Amen.
You are covered. You are redeemed. You are established. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
