Bible Text: Psalm 37:14–15
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
Memory Verse: Proverbs 26:27 “Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.”
Evil arrows are spiritual attacks launched by the enemy to destabilize your life, drain your strength, create confusion, or divert your destiny. These arrows can manifest as sudden sickness, unexplainable fear, financial loss, emotional heaviness, setbacks, strange dreams, or sudden disruptions. They are weaponized spiritual forces sent intentionally to interrupt your progress or weaken your determination.
The enemy often shoots arrows at moments of breakthrough, just as a soldier targets the exposed areas of armor. But God equips His children with spiritual defense and counterattack strategies. When you redirect evil arrows to “return to sender,” you are not cursing people, you are invoking divine judgment on demonic forces responsible for the attack.
Evil arrows are like poisoned darts shot from a distance. They are unseen but deadly. However, the shield of faith in Ephesians 6:16 acts like bulletproof armor, and prayer becomes the spiritual command that redirects these arrows back into the enemy’s camp.
The Bible shows many moments where God reversed demonic attacks. In Psalm 35, David prayed for God to turn the weapons of his enemies against them. In Esther, the plot Haman crafted became the trap that destroyed him. In Numbers 22, the curses of Balaam were reversed into blessings. God specializes in divine reversal, ensuring that every evil arrow returns to its origin.
To return evil arrows, you must stand on three pillars:
- Discernment—identifying spiritual attacks.
- Authority—using the name of Jesus.
- Faith—believing that God will reverse the attack.
Pray the following prayers and you will be dismantling arrow-launching altars, block spiritual attacks, reverse demonic intentions, and enforce divine protection.

- Arrow of Fear
Psalm 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Fear is an arrow meant to cripple your confidence. It works like a sudden blackout stopping movement. But God is your light, restoring visibility, boldness, and courage. When light appears, fear evaporates like mist under the sun.
Prayers:
- Lord, every arrow of sudden fear shot at me, return to sender by fire; restore boldness and divine strength today.
- Father, because You are my light and my salvation, I reject every spirit of fear and walk boldly in faith.
Lord, be the strength of my life. Uphold me against every challenge and defend me from all seen and unseen enemies.- Terror by Night
Psalm 91:5 “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;”
Night terrors are spiritual arrows. They strike like ambush attacks in the dark. God assures believers of God’s protection against both visible and invisible dangers. “Terror by night” represents hidden fears, demonic oppression, nightmares, and sudden attacks that come in darkness, while “the arrow that flieth by day” symbolizes open, deliberate attacks; spoken words, plans, or actions meant to harm. God’s promise is freedom from fear because His covering is constant, day and night. God’s presence becomes your night lamp, exposing danger and disarming the enemy.
Prayer:
- Father, scatter every night terror attacking my peace; let every evil arrow fired at night backfire immediately.
- Father, by Your power, I reject and nullify every terror by night sent as an arrow against my peace, sleep, and destiny. I rest under Your divine covering.
- Lord, surround me with Your presence. Let every arrow of fear, oppression, or affliction fired in the night be quenched and rendered powerless.
- Breaking Arrows of Anxiety
1 Peter 5:7 “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Anxiety is a mental arrow that disrupts faith. God removes it like lifting a heavy bag off your shoulders. This is a call to you to release every burden, worry, and anxious thought to God. Anxiety is like an invisible arrow aimed at the mind and heart, but God invites us to throw those cares onto Him because His care is personal, constant, and loving. Freedom comes when we stop carrying what God has promised to carry for us.
Prayers:
- Lord, break every arrow of anxiety sent to destabilize my mind; return it to sender now.
- Father, I cast every anxious thought, fear, and worry upon You. I break every arrow of anxiety fired against my mind, emotions, and faith.
- Lord, let Your care silence every voice of fear within me. Fill my heart with Your peace and strengthen my trust in Your unfailing love.
- ARROWS OF SUDDEN SICKNESS
Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”
Sickness arrows strike unexpectedly like a sudden storm. God becomes your healer, reversing the storm and restoring calm. God’s promise of restoration and healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, even when others reject, label, or wound you, God declares recovery. What caused pain, shame, or loss is not final; God’s word brings renewal and dignity back to His people.
Prayer:
- Father, every arrow of sudden sickness fired into my body, return to sender; restore my health today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, according to Your promise, restore health to my body, soul, and spirit. Heal every visible and hidden wound caused by rejection, affliction, or attack.
- Father, where I have been called an outcast or overlooked, restore me fully. Turn my pain into testimony and my wounds into strength in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Strange Symptoms
Nahum 1:9 “What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.”
Strange symptoms are arrows disguised as recurring attacks. God destroys their source like uprooting weeds. God’s decisive judgment against evil schemes. Any affliction; whether planned, hidden, or repeated, will be brought to a complete end by God. Unusual or recurring attacks are not permitted to continue, and every evil imagination sent as an arrow will be terminated by divine authority.
Prayers:
- Lord, destroy every strange symptom caused by evil arrows; let affliction never return again.
- Father, by Your word, I command every strange symptom and hidden affliction fired as an evil arrow against my body and mind to come to a complete end. Let it not rise a second time.
- Lord, expose and overturn every evil imagination behind these attacks. Let every arrow of affliction be neutralized and redirected by Your justice, and establish me in wholeness and peace.
- Dream Arrows
Job 33: 14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; 16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
God communicates through dreams and night visions to instruct, warn, and protect. While the enemy may attempt to send dream arrows, confusion, fear, or manipulation during sleep, God has authority over the dream realm. He opens ears, not for harm, but for divine instruction, ensuring that evil messages are exposed and overturned. Some arrows are fired through dreams. God reveals and reverses them like a warning alarm preventing danger.
Prayer:
- Father, every dream arrow shot at my destiny, backfire immediately by the blood of Jesus.
- Father, take control of my dreams and night seasons. I reject every evil arrow fired through dreams, and I ask that every harmful message be exposed, canceled, and redirected by Your power in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, open my ears to Your voice alone as I sleep. Seal me with Your instruction, and let every strange or oppressive dream be replaced with Your peace, clarity, and protection in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Breaking arrows of Delay
Daniel 10:13 “But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”
Delay arrows work like spiritual roadblocks. But God releases angelic reinforcements that break the blockade.
Spiritual opposition can cause delays, even when God has already released an answer. Daniel’s prayer was heard immediately, but an unseen battle delayed its manifestation. This shows that delays can be the result of spiritual resistance, not denial. God ultimately sent angelic reinforcement, proving that every arrow of delay can be broken and overturned by divine intervention.
Prayer:
- Lord, every arrow of delay fired to hinder my breakthrough, return to sender now in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Father, by Your power, I break every arrow of delay fired against my prayers, destiny, and progress. Let every spiritual resistance assigned against me be overthrown and rendered powerless in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, send divine help as You sent Michael. Let every blessing, answer, and breakthrough delayed by opposition be released now, and let every arrow of delay be redirected by Your justice in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Arrows sent to Divert Destinies
Proverbs 19:21 “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.”
God has supreme authority over every plan and scheme. While people or forces may devise strategies to divert, confuse, or derail destinies, only God’s counsel prevails. Any arrow sent to redirect your path away from God’s purpose is ultimately powerless, because divine destiny cannot be overruled by human or spiritual devices. Diversion arrows push you off destiny’s path like detours on a highway, but God restores direction.
Prayer:
- Father, reverse every arrow of destiny diversion; realign my steps with Your will today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Father, I cancel every device, plan, or arrow sent to divert my destiny from Your will. Let only Your counsel stand over my life, purpose, and future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, realign my steps with Your perfect plan. Let every evil arrow of confusion, misdirection, or delay be overturned and redirected by Your authority in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Attack at the Edge of Breakthrough
Micah 2:13 “The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them.”
This arrow strikes when success is near. God becomes ‘The Breaker’ who bulldozes the barrier. God as “the Breaker”, the One who goes ahead to remove obstacles and open gates. Attacks at the edge of breakthrough often come when freedom and victory are near, but Micah 2:13 assures us that the Lord leads the breakthrough Himself. Any evil arrow fired to stop, reverse, or frustrate progress at the final moment is powerless when God goes before His people.
Prayer:
- Lord, return every arrow fired at my breakthrough; let Your Breaker anointing scatter obstacles in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Father, as You go before me as the Breaker, I nullify every evil arrow fired to stop me at the edge of my breakthrough. Let every resistance collapse and every gate open by Your power in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, lead me through every barrier standing before my victory. Let every arrow of setback, discouragement, or confusion sent at this critical moment be overturned and redirected by Your authority in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Arrows of Confusion
1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”
Confusion arrows disrupt thinking like scrambled signals. God restores clarity like tuning a radio. Confusion does not originate from God. When disorder, instability, or mental unrest appears, it is contrary to God’s nature, because He is the author of peace, clarity, and order. Therefore, any arrow of confusion sent to disturb the mind, decisions, relationships, or spiritual walk is illegitimate and must be rejected, neutralized, and overturned by God’s peace.
Prayer:
- Father, reverse every confusion arrow; restore clarity and divine order now in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Father, I reject every arrow of confusion fired against my mind, purpose, and spiritual understanding. I receive Your peace and clarity, and I declare that confusion has no place in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, establish Your order in every area of my life. Let every evil arrow sent to create disorder, misunderstanding, or division be nullified and redirected by Your authority in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Arrows of Manipulation
Isaiah 8:10 “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”
Manipulative arrows push you into wrong decisions. God nullifies them like deleting corrupted files. Futility of conspiracies, schemes, and manipulative plans formed against God’s people. Even when others coordinate words, advice, or influence to control outcomes, God’s presence cancels their effect. Arrows of manipulation aresubtle control, twisted counsel, or coercive words, they cannot stand when God is with you.
Prayer:
- Lord, let every arrow of manipulation fired at me backfire immediately.
- Father, I declare that every counsel, plan, or word spoken to manipulate my decisions, relationships, or destiny shall come to nothing. Let every arrow of manipulation be exposed and rendered powerless.
- Lord, sharpen my discernment and guard my heart and mind. Let every manipulative influence sent against me be overturned and redirected by Your authority and let Your will alone prevail in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Emotional Attacks
Psalm 34:17 “The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.”
This is a strong assurance that God hears emotional cries, not just spoken prayers. Emotional attacks such as heaviness, sorrow, rejection, or inner distress, are not ignored by God. When the righteous cry out, the Lord responds with deliverance from every form of trouble, including unseen emotional wounds and pressures. No emotional arrow sent to weaken the heart can prevail against God’s rescuing power.
Emotional arrows drain strength like leaks in a vessel. God heals and seals every emotional crack.
Prayer:
- Father, return every emotional attack arrow; restore joy and stability today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Father, I cry out to You. Deliver me from every emotional attack, heaviness, and inner affliction sent as an evil arrow against my peace and joy in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, heal my heart and restore my joy. Let every emotional arrow of sorrow, fear, or rejection be nullified and redirected by Your power, and establish me in Your peace in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Attacks on Potential
Psalm 18:29 “For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.”
This is a supernatural empowerment by God. Troops and walls symbolize organized resistance, limitations, and barriers meant to restrain growth and potential. Attacks on potential often come as discouragement, stagnation, or repeated obstacles, but David testifies that through God, every barrier is overcome. Any arrow sent to suppress or diminish potential is rendered powerless by divine strength.
These arrows weaken your productivity. God empowers you to leap over obstacles.
Prayers:
- Lord, return every arrow suppressing my potential; strengthen my hands for victory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Father, by Your strength, I break every arrow fired to limit my potential, gifts, and progress. Empower me to overcome every barrier standing against my divine assignment in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Lord, cause me to run through every opposition and leap over every wall set against my growth. Let every evil arrow sent to frustrate my potential be overturned and redirected by Your power in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Witchcraft Arrows: ARROWS OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Isaiah 8:10 “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.”
This verse powerfully declares the defeat of coordinated spiritual attacks. Witchcraft arrows—spoken spells, evil counsel, enchantments, and coordinated spiritual warfare—depend on words, agreements, and influence. Isaiah 8:10 assures us that every counsel, incantation, or spoken word released against God’s people will fail, because the presence of God (“Immanuel”) nullifies their power. Where God is present, witchcraft cannot prevail.
Witchcraft arrows carry spiritual poison. God neutralizes them like detoxifying venom.
Prayer:
- Lord, every witchcraft arrow, return to sender by Holy Ghost fire now.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, I nullify every counsel, spell, enchantment, and spoken word released against my life through witchcraft. Let every arrow of spiritual warfare come to nothing, for You are with me.
- Lord, surround me with Your presence and power. Let every witchcraft arrow fired against my destiny be exposed, dismantled, and redirected by Your authority, and establish me in victory and peace.
DECLARATION
In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that every evil arrow fired against my life shall return to sender by divine authority. No arrow of fear, sickness, delay, confusion, failure, or sabotage will prosper. I am covered by the blood of Jesus, and I stand behind the shield of faith that quenches every fiery dart of the wicked. Every arrow released through dreams, witchcraft, monitoring spirits, evil altars, or demonic projections is reversed right now.
I decree divine protection over my destiny. My health is shielded, my family is covered, my finances are secured, and my purpose is untouchable. Every arrow assigned to destabilize my progress, drain my strength, or confuse my mind is neutralized and returned to sender sevenfold.
I declare that I walk in unstoppable victory. The light of God surrounds me, the angels of God defend me, and the power of God preserves me. Every evil intention becomes divine promotion. Every attack becomes acceleration. Every weapon becomes worthless.
From today forward, only God’s will stands in my life. I decree supernatural covering, divine strength, and complete victory.
