Bible Text: Deuteronomy 31:7–8

7. “And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

8. And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

Memory Verse: Isaiah 45:2 “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.”

Life is like a traveler walking through an unfamiliar forest at night. Without direction, every step becomes uncertain, dangerous, and fearful. But when an experienced guide walks ahead carrying a lamp, the traveler gains confidence because the guide sees dangers before they appear. This is how God works in the lives of His children. He never intended you to journey through life alone. He goes before you to prepare pathways, remove obstacles, and secure victory before battles even arise.

God assured Israel repeatedly that He would go before them. Before they reached the Red Sea, God was already there making a way. Before Joshua approached Jericho, God had already arranged victory. Before David faced Goliath, heaven had already ordained triumph. God’s leadership means that your future is never hidden from Him. The road that seems uncertain to you is already known by Him completely.

When the Lord goes before a person, confusion gives way to clarity, fear gives way to confidence, and impossible situations bow before divine authority. Closed doors begin to open, hidden traps are exposed, and divine favour appears unexpectedly. God’s presence ahead of you guarantees that no enemy can successfully block your destiny.

Tonight, during this Mid-Night Encounter, the Lord shall go before you into every area of your life: family, career, ministry, business, health, and destiny. Every crooked path shall become straight, every gate of resistance shall break, and every hidden danger shall be overturned. You shall not walk alone anymore. The God who sees tomorrow is already making a way for you today in Jesus’ mighty name.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Pray That The Lord Goes Before You in Battle

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.”

A commander walking ahead of soldiers inspires courage because the army knows victory is possible. God never sends His children into battles alone. He walks ahead, confronting dangers before they appear. When God goes before you, fear loses power because heaven has already secured the outcome. What terrifies others cannot destroy you because divine presence surrounds your journey, guaranteeing victory where defeat once seemed inevitable and impossible circumstances once prevailed.

Prayer

• Father, go before me and scatter every battle assigned against me this month, this year permanently tonight in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

• Lord, remove fear and establish divine courage within my spirit by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

• I shall never face life’s battles alone in Jesus’ mighty and victorious name forever Amen..
• Pray for Divine Guidance on Every Path

Psalm 32:8 “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

A traveler crossing a dangerous desert depends completely on an experienced guide who knows hidden paths, water sources, and dangerous territories. Without guidance, wrong turns can lead to destruction, delay, or death. You need God’s direction daily because life contains unseen traps and confusing crossroads. God’s guidance is not partial; He promised instruction, teaching, and careful oversight. When the Lord guides you, confusion disappears, destiny becomes clearer, and progress becomes safer.

Prayers

• Father, instruct me through Your Holy Spirit and guide every decision concerning my destiny, family, ministry, relationships, and future assignments in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Lord, deliver me completely from wrong choices, destructive pathways, hidden traps, confusion, and spiritual blindness; establish my steps according to Your perfect will forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Heavenly Father, let Your eye watch over me and every member of my family; direct our footsteps into favour, peace, wisdom, protection, prosperity, and covenant breakthroughs daily and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.
• Pray that God will Remove Crooked Paths

Isaiah 45:2 “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron.”

Crooked roads make journeys longer, harder, and frustrating because travelers constantly struggle with bends, obstacles, and dangerous turns. Spiritually, crooked paths represent complications, delays, confusion, resistance, and invisible barriers that hinder progress. But God promises to go before His people and straighten every difficult pathway. He destroys stubborn gates and breaks impossible barriers. When God intervenes, what was once difficult becomes smooth, delayed progress accelerates, and blocked opportunities open supernaturally by divine power.

Prayer Points

• Lord, go before me today and straighten every crooked situation, complication, delay, resistance, and confusion hindering my progress, destiny, breakthroughs, and divine advancement in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Father, break every gate of brass and cut every bar of iron standing against my opportunities, success, promotion, open doors, and supernatural testimonies permanently in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I move forward unhindered; every obstacle, barrier, limitation, and satanic resistance against my destiny and for every member of my family collapses completely in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Pray for Divine Protection Ahead

Psalm 91:11–12 “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

A king assigns trained guards to protect treasures that are valuable and important. God assigns angels to protect His children because they are precious in His sight. Divine protection is more than physical safety; it includes preservation from accidents, hidden traps, spiritual attacks, evil arrows, and sudden destruction. When God’s angels surround you, dangers are intercepted before arrival, enemies are frustrated, and destiny remains preserved under heaven’s powerful security system.

Prayers

• Father, assign mighty angels to surround me, my household, ministry, business, and destiny; preserve us from danger, attacks, accidents, and evil conspiracies permanently.

• Lord, expose every hidden trap, satanic ambush, spiritual attack, and evil agenda prepared against me and every member of my family; let every enemy plan scatter completely tonight and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I declare by faith that divine protection surrounds me; no weapon, danger, accident, affliction, or destruction shall prevail against my destiny forevermore today and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.
• Pray for Supernatural Open Doors

Isaiah 22:22 “And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.”

A master key gives access to rooms, treasures, and opportunities unavailable to ordinary people. Without the right key, doors remain locked regardless of effort or desire. Spiritually, God alone possesses the highest key of authority that opens doors no enemy can close. When God releases divine access, barriers collapse, opportunities appear, helpers arise, and breakthroughs manifest suddenly. His favor grants entrance into places where human qualifications, connections, and strength repeatedly fail and become insufficient.

Prayer

• Father, by Your divine authority, open every closed door affecting my destiny, career, ministry, marriage, business, and covenant opportunities permanently beginning from tonight and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Lord, release supernatural favour, access, and divine connections into my life; let impossible doors open speedily by Your mercy, power, and unchallengeable authority today and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I decree in Jesus’ mighty name that NO opportunity, blessing, promotion, testimony, or breakthrough shall remain closed against my life, my family and destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Pray for Victory Over Fear

2 Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Fear behaves like thick darkness covering a traveler’s path, causing hesitation, confusion, and paralysis. Many destinies remain unfulfilled because fear stops people from taking bold steps toward opportunities and divine assignments. But God never designed His children to live under intimidation or anxiety. He gives power for victory, love for stability, and a sound mind for wise decisions. When God’s presence fills your heart, fear loses authority and courage rises supernaturally within your spirit.

Prayer Points

• Father, destroy every spirit of fear, intimidation, anxiety, and discouragement limiting my advancement, confidence, boldness, opportunities, and divine assignments permanently tonight completely forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Lord, fill my heart with supernatural courage, peace, power, and stability; let every voice of fear and confusion be silenced now and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I reject fear and receive boldness through the Holy Ghost; I shall advance confidently, fulfill destiny, and overcome every challenge victoriously in Jesus’ name. Amen.
• Pray for Divine Provision Ahead

Genesis 22:13–14 “And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.”

A caring father prepares meals, shelter, and necessities for his children before they even recognize their needs. God is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord our Provider, who makes provision ahead of time for His children. Abraham discovered that God had already prepared a ram before the sacrifice became impossible. Divine provision means heaven supplies solutions before crises arise. When God provides, lack disappears, needs are met, and supernatural abundance replaces insufficiency completely forever.

Prayer Points

• Father, release supernatural provision into every area of lack within my household; let financial struggles, insufficiency, debt, and scarcity disappear permanently beginning from tonight completely now and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.  

• Lord Jehovah-Jireh, supply all my needs according to Your riches in glory; release divine opportunities, favour, helpers, resources, and covenant abundance into my life and that of my family now and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that shameful lack, financial hardship, insufficiency, and disappointment shall never prevail over my destiny, family, ministry, and future now and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

8.    Pray for Peace in Troubled Seasons

Philippians 4:6–7 “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

A storm at sea can terrify sailors, shaking their confidence and threatening survival. Yet when a commanding voice calms the wind, the sea becomes still instantly. Life brings storms of fear, uncertainty, delay, and emotional distress. God’s peace is not dependent on circumstances; it is a divine covering that stabilizes the heart and mind. When His peace rules, confusion disappears, anxiety fades, and inner strength is restored regardless of external storms.

Prayer Points

• Lord, release Your supernatural peace into every storm, conflict, confusion, and distress surrounding my life, family, destiny, and assignments completely tonight and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Father, calm every raging storm fighting my joy, stability, health, finances, and spiritual life; let Your divine presence bring restoration and order permanently in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I receive the peace of God that passes all understanding; my heart, mind, and destiny are secured in Christ Jesus forever and ever Amen.

9.    Pray for Restoration of Lost Opportunities

Isaiah 61:7  “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”

A ruined building can be rebuilt stronger than before when skilled builders arrive with wisdom, resources, and commitment. God restores wasted years, missed opportunities, and broken destinies with divine precision. What was lost through delay, error, or attack can be recovered beyond original measure. Restoration in God’s kingdom is never partial; it is multiplied. He turns shame into honour, loss into abundance, and disappointment into testimony through His redeeming power.

Prayer Points

• Lord, restore every lost opportunity, wasted season, missed connection, and delayed breakthrough in my life, destiny, family, ministry, and assignments completely and permanently.

• Father, reconnect me with divine helpers, open doors, favour, and destiny connections that will reposition my life for acceleration, elevation, and fulfillment beginning today.

• I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that every shame, loss, disappointment, and wasted effort in my life is transformed into double honour, double blessing, and everlasting joy.

10. Pray for Strength for the Journey

Psalm 84:7 “They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”

A long-distance runner cannot rely on initial energy alone; strength must be renewed at every stage of the race to reach the finish line. Llife’s journey requires continuous spiritual, emotional, and physical strength. God does not only give strength at the beginning; He increases it along the way. As you wait on Him, weakness is replaced with endurance, fatigue is exchanged for vigour, and progress becomes steady, unstoppable, and victorious through divine empowerment.

Prayer Points

• Father, renew my strength spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally; let every form of weakness, exhaustion, and limitation be destroyed by Your divine power tonight and completely in Jesus’ name Amen.

• Lord, empower me with grace to fulfill every assignment, responsibility, and divine mandate without failure, delay, distraction, or weakness throughout my journey in life today and forever in Jesus’ name Amen.

• I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that I shall not faint, I shall not fail, and I shall not be weary; I move from strength to strength in Jesus’ name Amen.
• Pray for Divine Wisdom and Discernment

Proverbs 2:6–7 “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.”

A traveler in a dense forest depends on a compass to avoid dangerous paths, hidden traps, and wrong directions. Without it, confusion and danger increase. Life requires divine wisdom to make correct choices in relationships, career, ministry, and destiny. God is the source of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. When He gives discernment, deception is exposed, clarity replaces confusion, and you walk in accuracy, direction, and divine alignment with God’s perfect will.

Prayer Points

• Lord, release divine wisdom and discernment into my spirit for every decision, relationship, opportunity, and assignment affecting my destiny, future, and purpose beginning from today.

• Father, expose every hidden deception, manipulation, and trap assigned against my life; grant me spiritual clarity, insight, and divine understanding through the Holy Ghost insight tonight.

• I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that I walk in divine wisdom, accuracy, understanding, and discernment; I shall not make costly mistakes or walk in confusion forever in Jesus’ name Amen.
• Pray against the spirit of Delay and Stagnation

Isaiah 60:22 “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.”

A journey blocked by traffic causes frustration, delays, missed appointments, and wasted time. Spiritually, delay and stagnation function like unseen roadblocks that slow progress and hinder destiny fulfillment. God, however, is able to remove every obstruction and accelerate His purpose in your life. He does not only restore time; He hastens fulfillment. When God moves, years of delay collapse into moments of supernatural speed, turning slow progress into sudden advancement and divine acceleration.

Prayer Points

• Lord, break every spirit of delay, stagnation, limitation, and slow progress affecting my destiny, assignments, career, ministry, and family permanently tonight, completely forever in Jesus’ name Amen.

• Father, accelerate my blessings, open doors, breakthroughs, and divine opportunities; let every long-awaited testimony manifest speedily by Your divine power beginning from this moment in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I decree in Jesus’ mighty name that I shall no longer be delayed or hindered; I move forward with divine speed, progress, and unstoppable acceleration forevermore in Jesus’ name. Amen.

13. Prayer for Preservation of Destiny

Jude 1:24 “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.”

A priceless treasure is placed under heavy security because of its value and importance. Human destiny is precious and must be preserved from destruction, diversion, and corruption. God is the ultimate keeper who guards His children from falling into traps, errors, and demonic attacks. His preservation ensures that destiny remains intact despite opposition. When God preserves a life, no force can abort purpose, no attack can terminate assignment, and no interference can derail divine agenda.

Prayer Points

• Father, preserve my destiny from every form of destruction, delay, deviation, and evil interference; let my life remain aligned with Your divine purpose continually today and forever.

• Lord, place divine protection over my family, ministry, health, finances, and assignments; let no demonic agenda succeed against my destiny and calling tonight in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that my destiny shall not be aborted, diverted, or destroyed; I shall fulfill divine purpose victoriously and completely forevermore.

14. Thanksgiving for Divine Leadership

Psalm 23:1–3 “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

A shepherd carefully leads sheep away from danger, guiding them toward safe pastures, clean water, and rest. Without a shepherd, sheep become vulnerable, lost, and exposed to predators. God leads His children with wisdom, protection, and provision. His leadership ensures peace in confusion, direction in uncertainty, and rest in hardship. When God leads, lack is replaced with supply, fear with confidence, and wandering with purposeful alignment under His divine care.

Prayer Points

• Lord, I thank You for being my Shepherd; thank You for leading, guiding, protecting, and preserving my life, family, and destiny by Your mercy forever in Jesus’ name. Amen.

• Father, I celebrate Your divine leadership over my journey; let Your presence continue to direct my steps into peace, provision, favour, and supernatural victory always tonight.

• I declare in Jesus’ mighty name that my future is secured, my destiny is guided, and my life is preserved under God’s covenant leadership forevermore in Jesus’ name. Amen.

DECLARATION

Tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we declare that the Lord goes before us into every area of our lives. He goes before our families, careers, ministries, businesses, finances, health, and destinies. Every crooked path is made straight, every mountain of resistance is removed, and every gate standing against our advancement is broken permanently.

We decree that no weapon formed against us shall prosper because the Lord Himself walks ahead of us as our Defender, Protector, and Deliverer. Every hidden trap prepared by the enemy is exposed and destroyed. Every spirit of fear, confusion, delay, stagnation, and disappointment loses authority over our lives tonight.

We declare divine guidance over every decision we make. We shall not walk in error, confusion, or destruction. The Spirit of God shall lead us continually into peace, wisdom, favor, and victory. Where others fail, we shall prevail because heaven has gone before us.

From tonight, doors of opportunities shall open supernaturally. Divine helpers shall locate us. Restoration shall replace losses, joy shall replace sorrow, and acceleration shall replace delay. We shall not be stranded in destiny because the God who sees tomorrow is already preparing our pathways today.

We boldly proclaim that our going out and coming in are preserved. Our families are secured, our destinies are protected, and our future is established upon God’s covenant promises forever.

The Lord shall go before us, and we shall walk victoriously all the days of our lives.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit,

BENEDICTION DECLARATION

We declare in Jesus’ mighty name:

The Lord who goes before us shall continue to go ahead of us in every journey of life.
He will go before us into our families and settle every contention.
He will go before us into our careers and establish divine favour.
He will go before us into our ministries and release uncommon grace.
He will go before us into our businesses and command supernatural increase.
He will go before us into our health and release divine preservation.

Every crooked path ahead of us is made straight.
Every closed gate before us is opened.
Every hidden trap before us is exposed and destroyed.
Every battle ahead of us is already won by the Lord of hosts.

We shall not walk in confusion, fear, or defeat.
We shall walk in clarity, confidence, and covenant victory.
Our going out is blessed, and our coming in is secured.
The hand of the Lord shall lead us continually, and His presence shall go ahead of us like a consuming fire.

We are preserved, we are guided, we are protected, and we are established in Christ Jesus.

From tonight and forevermore, we walk under divine leadership, divine guidance, and divine protection.
