SHUT THE VOICE OF EVIL ALTARS
Bible Text: Philippians 2:1–11
- If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
- Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
- Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
- Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
- Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
- Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
- But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
- And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
- Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
- That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Memory Verse: Numbers 23:23 “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!”
Altars speak. They release spiritual verdicts into families, communities, and destinies. Some altars declare blessings, while others release cycles of delay, resistance, sickness, or limitation.
When Balaam was hired to curse Israel, he attempted to use altars and sacrifices as spiritual communication systems. The intention was to project curses into Israel’s destiny. But every attempt failed because God Himself overruled the incantations.
The critical truth here is that Evil altars will continue speaking until a higher altar silences them. Many believers pray but still face mysterious struggles because voices from old altars are still echoing in the spirit realm.
These voices may be coming from:
- ancestral covenants
- negative words spoken by elders
- occult or witchcraft gatherings
- family idols and sacrifices
- curses spoken intentionally or carelessly
Yet the Scripture declares that the name of Jesus carries supreme authority. At the name of Jesus every knee bows and every voice that opposes God must submit. The altar of the Cross is the eternal altar that cancels every accusation.
When that altar speaks, every other altar must fall silent.
Action plans
- Declare God’s Word daily to cancel every enchantment, affirming no weapon prospers and Christ’s victory over all opposing spiritual forces.
- Reject and cancel every negative word spoken over your life, choosing instead to accept only God’s truth and purpose for you.
- Replace every evil voice with thanksgiving, praise, and bold declarations, aligning your speech with God’s promises and truth continually.
- Create a daily altar through consistent prayer, worship, and studying God’s Word, inviting His presence and power into your home always.
- Consistently speak God’s promises over your life and destiny, declaring faith, victory, purpose, and alignment with His divine plan daily.

6. So we lift up our voice
And in Christ we rejoice,
For the battle is won by His grace;
Every altar must bow
To the Saviour just now,
And His kingdom shall reign in this place.

Father, expose every altar speaking against my destiny.
Ephesians 5:11–13 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.”
Darkness survives through secrecy. When the light of God exposes hidden works, their power begins to collapse. What was operating secretly loses authority once it is revealed by divine light.
Hidden problems remain powerful until exposed. A water pipe that leak inside a wall slowly damage the house; until the wall is opened, the damage continues unnoticed. Evil altars often operate secretly within family histories. When God reveals them, their influence begin to weaken. Divine exposure is the first step to deliverance because light removes the hiding place of darkness.
Prayers:
- Father, expose every hidden altar speaking against my destiny; bring to light every secret covenant and power working against my progress, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, by Your divine light reveal every altar secretly influencing my life and family history; let their hidden works be uncovered and destroyed, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, shine Your light into every secret place of my lineage; expose and dismantle every altar speaking against my destiny, in Jesus’ name.

Silence every voice from ancestral altars.
Hebrews 12:24 “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
Spiritual altars often function like witnesses presenting accusations. However, the Blood of Jesus carries a greater testimony, overruling every voice raised against your life and destiny.
Two voices may speak in a courtroom, but the stronger testimony determines the outcome. The blood of Jesus speaks better things than the blood of Abel. When you invoke this blood, its voice overrules every accusation spoken from ancient altars.
Prayers:
- Blood of Jesus, silence every voice speaking against my life and destiny from ancestral altars; let Your greater testimony prevail over every accusation, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, let the Blood of Jesus speak mercy, freedom, and victory over my life, silencing every ancient altar speaking against my progress, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, by the power of the Blood of Jesus, every voice from ancestral covenants and altars be permanently silenced, in Jesus’ name.

Father, erase every negative proclamation spoken over my life.
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Words carry spiritual authority. Negative declarations spoken over a person can influence direction and confidence. Through prayer and faith, you can cancel destructive words and release life-giving declarations.
Words are like missiles released into the air. Once spoken, they travel toward their target. Many lives carry the weight of careless or malicious words spoken years ago. But God has given you the authority to cancel destructive declarations and replace them with words that bring life.
Prayers:
- Father, erase every negative proclamation spoken over my life; cancel every destructive word released against my destiny and replace it with Your promises, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, every careless or malicious word spoken over my future lose your power today; I declare life, favour, and progress over my destiny, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, by Your authority I cancel every spoken curse, limitation, or negative prophecy over my life and family, in Jesus’ name.

Every voice from any altar enforcing sickness, lose your power.
Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.”
When the root source of affliction is confronted, God’s promise of restoration begins to manifest. His power removes the cause and releases healing.
A polluted water source can cause repeated illness in a community. Treating symptoms alone cannot solve the problem; the source must be purified. When the spiritual source behind sickness is confronted, healing flows freely again.
Prayers:
- Every voice from any altar enforcing sickness in my life and family, lose your power now; I receive divine health and restoration, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, by Your healing power silence every spiritual voice speaking affliction over my body; let every altar of sickness be dismantled, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, restore my health completely; every altar or covenant enforcing repeated sickness over my life be destroyed forever, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, silence every voice of rejection in my destiny.
Psalm 5:12 “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”
God’s favour surrounds His people like a shield. When divine favour begins to speak, rejection, denial, and exclusion lose their authority. Rejection often is like knocking on many doors that never open. But God’s favour works like a master key that opens every door that others cannot access. When divine favour speaks, rejection loses its authority.
Prayers:
- Lord, silence every voice of rejection speaking against my destiny; surround my life with Your favour and cause doors of opportunity to open, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, every altar or voice enforcing rejection in my life lose your power today; let Your favour speak acceptance for me everywhere I go, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, replace every rejection in my destiny with divine acceptance and favour; let Your blessing surround me like a shield, in Jesus’ name.

Every voice from any altar sponsoring financial setbacks, be destroyed.
Haggai 2:8 “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.”
This is a reminder that God is the true owner of all wealth. When financial progress is hindered, calling on the Lord releases His authority over resources and breaks every spiritual restriction limiting prosperity.
A farmer with fertile land expects harvest, yet poisoned soil prevents growth. Similarly, some destinies struggle financially because of spiritual restrictions. When God’s blessing replaces those restrictions, productivity and prosperity begin to flourish.
Prayer:
- Every voice from any altar sponsoring financial setbacks in my life, be destroyed by the power of God; I receive divine provision and prosperity, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, since all silver and gold belong to You, remove every spiritual restriction blocking my financial progress and release abundance into my hands, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, destroy every altar voice enforcing lack, debt, and financial struggle in my destiny; let Your covenant of provision manifest in my life, in Jesus’ name.

Every altar-voice of confusion, lose your influence.
1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”
Confusion disrupts direction and decision-making. When God’s order replaces confusion, clarity emerges and the path forward becomes visible. Confusion is like trying to navigate a city without signs or maps. One becomes lost even when the destination is close. God is not the author of confusion. When His order replaces confusion, clarity and progress return.
Prayers:
- Every altar-voice of confusion speaking into my decisions and destiny, lose your influence now; the peace and clarity of God rule my mind and path, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, silence every spiritual voice causing confusion in my life; establish Your divine order and grant me wisdom to move forward, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, every altar generating confusion around my purpose and progress be dismantled; let Your peace guide my thoughts and actions, in Jesus’ name.

Every evil covenant-voices empowering altar against me, break.
Colossians 2:14–15 “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15. And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
Covenants operate like spiritual legal documents. When Christ died, every opposing record was cancelled and nailed to the cross. His victory removed the legal ground of powers enforcing evil agreements.
Covenants function like legal agreements. If a harmful contract exists, it can influence outcomes until cancelled. The Bible says Jesus nailed every opposing record to the cross. His sacrifice nullifies every spiritual agreement made against your destiny.
Prayers:
- Every evil covenant-voice empowering altar against my life, break now; by the victory of the cross I cancel every negative agreement, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, by the power of Christ’s sacrifice, every handwriting of ordinances strengthening evil altars against me be erased forever, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, every covenant voice speaking from ancient altars against my destiny be silenced and broken permanently, in Jesus’ name.

Father, let the altar of the cross speak mercy for me.
Ephesians 2:13 “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
The cross of Christ restores access to God. What distance and sin once separated, the blood of Jesus bridges through mercy and grace. When the altar of the cross speaks, barriers give way to reconciliation and favour.
Distance separates people from opportunities, but bridges restore access. The cross of Christ is the bridge reconnecting humanity to God’s mercy. When this altar speaks, barriers disappear and grace becomes available.
Prayers:
- Father, let the altar of the cross speak mercy for me today; by the blood of Jesus remove every barrier separating me from Your grace, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, let the voice of the cross release mercy over my life; cancel every judgment and accusation standing against my destiny, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, through the blood of Jesus bring me near to Your favour and mercy; let the altar of the cross speak on my behalf always, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, establish Your covenant altar in my life.
Genesis 8:20 And Noah built an altar unto the LORD, and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.
Noah’s altar represented thanksgiving and covenant with God. When we establish an altar of gratitude, it creates a spiritual atmosphere for God’s blessing and covenant promises to flourish. An altar of gratitude attracts divine attention. Noah built an altar after the flood, and God responded with a covenant of blessing. Gratitude creates spiritual atmosphere where God’s promises thrive.
Prayers:
- Lord, establish Your covenant altar in my life; let every evil altar opposing my destiny be dismantled, and let Your favour and blessing prevail, in Jesus’ name.
- Father, build Your altar of thanksgiving in my household; let it attract Your presence, blessings, and divine covenant into every area of my life, in Jesus’ name.
- Lord, let Your covenant altar dominate my life and lineage; may gratitude and obedience create a strong spiritual connection and atmosphere for Your promises to manifest, in Jesus’ name.
Declaration
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare that every evil altar speaking against your destiny is losing its voice today. Every word spoken against your life from ancestral altars, occult gatherings, or demonic sacrifices is being silenced by the blood of Jesus.
From this moment forward, the voice of God will be the loudest voice governing your life. Where evil altars that once declared delay, God now declares acceleration. Where they spoke rejection, heaven now releases favour. Where they projected sickness, the healing power of God begins to flow.
I decree that every cycle of limitation repeated in your family line stops with you. You are rising as the covenant carrier of your generation. The God who defended Israel against Balaam’s curses is defending your destiny today.
The blood of Jesus is rewriting the spiritual history of your life. Every accusation recorded against your name in the spirit realm is cancelled. Every evil proclamation loses its authority permanently. From today, your path becomes clearer, your steps become ordered, and your destiny moves forward with divine speed. Opportunities that once escaped you will now locate you.
Your home becomes an altar of worship, your life becomes a testimony of deliverance, and your future becomes evidence of God’s power. The Lord shall establish His covenant over you, your children, and your generations. No enchantment shall prevail against you. No divination shall succeed against your destiny.
And according to the Word of God, the testimony concerning your life shall be declared everywhere:
“See what the Lord has done!” In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

- Generational curses are broken! Generational blessings are released!
- Who is like the Lord our God? The Lord strong and mighty in battle!
- From today forward! Our destinies are free!
- By the covenant blood of Jesus Christ,
every altar speaking against us is destroyed,
and the altar of covenant freedom is established forever.

May the fellowship of the Holy Spirit strengthen us daily to walk in victory, boldness, obedience, and spiritual discernment. May our homes become altars of prayer, worship, thanksgiving, and covenant alignment with God Almighty. May every negative voice from our past lose its influence, and may God’s promises alone govern our future.
May the Lord establish His covenant altar in our lives, order our steps, enlarge our territories, prosper the work of our hands, and make us testimonies of His power and grace. May our children and generations after us walk under the covering of God’s mercy, favour, protection, and divine purpose.
Surely, no enchantment shall prevail against us, neither shall any divination prosper against our destinies. The voice of the Lord shall be greater than every contrary voice, and our lives shall continually declare: “See what the Lord has done!” The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen.
