Text: : Mark 1:23–24
23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
1 Kings 22:22
22 And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
COUNTERFEIT & DESTRUCTIVE CHANNELS: Demonic Communication – Direct Influence
- Memory Verse: James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”Demonic communication originates from unauthorized, deceptive, and corrupt spiritual sources whose purpose is to mislead, confuse, and oppose God’s truth. These communications are designed to influence thoughts, words, and actions in ways that lead away from God’s will. Demonic communication is counterfeit because it imitates genuine spiritual communication while promoting deception and destruction. Deceptive spirits attempt to influence communication through false messages.
“And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth?” Demonic spirits can speak through individuals when given access or influence. Demonic communication can happen through direct influence on the mind, emotions, or speech. It may introduce lies, fear, confusion, condemnation, or false direction. These influences often look subtle but are designed to weaken faith, distort the truth, and disrupt spiritual stability. Unlike God’s messages, which brings peace and clarity, demonic interactions produces unrest, fear, confusion, and spiritual oppression.
However, demonic messages has limits. It cannot overpower when you remain spiritually alert, grounded in the Scripture, and submitted to God. God has given you authority to resist and reject every deceptive influence. Discernment, prayer, and knowledge of God’s Word provide protection against counterfeit communication.
Demonic communication is like a counterfeit signal attempting to override a true broadcast. It may sound convincing, but it carries false information intended to mislead. Only by knowing the true signal can the counterfeit be recognized and rejected.
Action Plans:
- Strengthen your spiritual life through prayer and the Scripture.
- Reject thoughts that contradict God’s truth.
- Exercise spiritual authority by resisting every deceptive influence.
COVENANT GATE HYMNALS 29: SS&S 642:: WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD
- When we walk with the Lord in the light of his Word
What a glory he sheds on our way
While we do his good will, he abides with us still
And with all who will trust and obeyTrust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey
- Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies
But his smile quickly drives it away
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh nor a tear
Can abide while we trust and obey
- Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share
But our toil he doth richly repay
Not a grief nor a loss, not a frown or a cross
But is blest if we trust and obey
- But we never can prove the delights of his love
Until all on the altar we lay
For the favor he shows, and the joy he bestows
Are for them who will trust and obey
- Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at his feet
Or we will walk by his side in the way
What he says we will do, where he sends we will go
Never fear, only trust and obey
Today’s Prayer
