Day 14 of 21 Fasting: RECOVER ALL: DIVINE SPEED FOR RESTORATION

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 30:1–20

1 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.

4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.

5 And David’s two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

9 So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.

10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.

11 And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;

12 And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.

13 And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days agone I fell sick.

14 We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.

15 And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company.

16 And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.

17 And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.

18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David’s spoil.

Memory verse: 1 Kings 18:46 “And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”

Recovery is a covenant promise. Restoration is not merely returning to where you were, it is God multiplying what was lost and accelerating your journey so that years wasted are redeemed. Divine speed is God’s supernatural enabling power that collapses delays, shortens processes, overturns setbacks, and empowers you to overtake and recover all. In 1 Samuel 30:8, David received the prophetic instruction to pursue, overtake, and recover all. This was divine authorization, divine speed, and divine restoration in action.

Restoration becomes necessary when your life has been hindered by battles, delays, spiritual theft, loss of opportunities, relationships, finances, health, or destiny pathways. The enemy’s plan is always to steal, kill, and destroy John 10:10, but God’s commitment is to restore double Zechariah 9:12. Divine speed is how God ensures you do not remain behind because of past battles. The hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, and he outran Ahab’s chariot 1 Kings 18:46. This is supernatural acceleration, God lifting you beyond human limitation.

Divine speed is not chaos; it is God’s strategic empowerment to redeem lost time, restore stolen blessings, and reposition you ahead of the enemy’s agenda. When divine speed comes, destinies shift, delays break, and testimonies manifest without struggle. Everything the enemy buried resurfaces. Every stagnation breaks. Every diversion ends. Every denied opportunity reappears.

Today, God is releasing divine speed for recovery: speed to reclaim your spiritual fire, relational peace, financial strength, health, opportunities, and destiny assignments. No more delay, no more loss, no more backward movement. Your season of overtaking has begun. You shall recover all!

COVENANT GATE HYMNALS 65 “FREEDOM IN CHRIST” By Apostle James Abache

Prayers:

  1. Receive Divine Authorization for Recovery

1 Samuel 30:8 “And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.”

David’s recovery began when he asked God for direction. Divine recovery always starts with divine authorization. It is like a soldier waiting for the command from his commander before charging into battle, once the order comes, he knows the full force of the army backs him. When God says “pursue,” He is handing you heaven’s stamped and sealed authorization letter. His command is not a suggestion; it is a guarantee of victory, acceleration, and complete restoration. Nothing that God approves can fail, and no enemy can hold what God has cleared for release. This is heaven’s permission slip for the recovery of everything that belongs to you.

Prayer: Father, by Your command, empower me to pursue, overtake, and recover everything stolen from my life, destiny, and family in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  • Pray for Speed to Overtake Oppression

1 Kings 18:46 “And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”

Elijah received divine strength and outran a king’s chariot. This was not ordinary speed, it was the kind of supernatural acceleration that breaks natural limits. It is like a man on foot overtaking a royal horse-drawn chariot simply because the wind of God is pushing him forward. When divine speed comes upon you, it is as though God Himself places His hand on your back and pushes you beyond every obstacle, delay, or opposition. You move faster than your environment, faster than your enemies, and even faster than time itself. Divine speed collapses delay and releases acceleration into your destiny.

Prayer: Lord, let Your hand come upon me; empower me with supernatural speed to outrun every form of delay and overtake every enemy of my destiny in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  • Pray for the Restoration of Lost Years

Joel 2:25 “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

God restores years, not just things. It is like a farmer whose entire harvest was swallowed by swarms of insects, yet God does not merely give him back the crops; He gives him back the seasons, the rain, the strength, the soil fertility, and the time he thought could never return. Lost seasons of progress, opportunities, and growth are returned with divine multiplication. This is an assurance that God is the only One who can reach into yesterday, repair what was broken, and push the blessing forward into today. It is divine compensation for every wasted year.

Prayer: Father, restore to me every lost year, wasted opportunity, and stolen blessing; let my latter be far greater than my past in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  • Pray for Divine Compensation

Isaiah 61:7 “For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.”

Where shame once existed, God promises double honour. It is like someone who walked into a courtroom expecting judgment, only to have the judge rise, place a royal robe on them, and award them double inheritance instead of punishment. That is what divine compensation looks like, God replacing humiliation with elevation, sorrow with joy, and loss with abundance. Restoration in God’s kingdom doesn’t stop at getting back what was lost; it comes with dignity, joy, and new levels of blessing. Divine compensation is heaven’s justice system ruling in your favour.

Prayer: Lord, replace every shame in my life with double honor; compensate me supernaturally for every loss I have endured in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  • Pray to Break the Spirit of Delay

Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Even if a vision seems to delay, it is still on schedule. Delay is not denial. God’s timing works like a train running on a heavenly timetable, no matter how long it seems to take, the train will always arrive at the exact station it was destined for. This silences fear, crushes doubt, and breaks the power of stagnation by reminding us that God’s promises have an appointment, and they will keep it. When God sets the time, nothing in the spirit or in the natural can prevent the manifestation.

Prayer: Father, break every delay assigned against my life; let my divine promises manifest speedily without hindrance in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  • Pray to Recover Your Strength

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Recovery begins with renewed strength. God empowers the weary, lifts the tired, and restores spiritual stamina. It is like an eagle that appears exhausted after a long flight, but instead of falling, it catches a fresh wind current and rises higher than before. When you wait on God, He gives you that supernatural uplift, strength that makes you run without growing weary and walk without fainting. This is God rebuilding your inner engine so that you can soar into your destiny without breaking down in the battles of life.

Prayer: Lord, renew my strength; empower me to rise, run, and soar into my divine restoration without fainting in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  • Pray For The Restoration of Your Health

Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD.”

God heals and restores health. Divine recovery covers the body, emotions, and spirit. It is like a gardener who tends a withered plant, watering it, strengthening its roots, and removing every thorn that chokes it, until it blossoms with vibrant life again. In the same way, God reclaims your health, uproots every cause of sickness or weakness, and restores your strength so you can flourish. This scripture assures that nothing the enemy has stolen from your body or well-being is beyond God’s power to restore.

Prayer: “Father, restore my total health and heal every wound, physical, emotional, spiritual, in Jesus’ mighty name.”

  • Pray to Recover Your Finances

Deuteronomy 8:18 “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

God empowers His children to create wealth. Financial restoration is like a river that was blocked by debris, God removes the obstacles, clears the path, and lets the water flow freely, filling every dry valley and empty storehouse. Restoration includes recovering lost resources, opening new economic opportunities, and releasing supernatural provision under God’s covenant promises. He equips you with ideas, favou        r, and strength to prosper in ways beyond your natural ability.

Prayer: Lord, release financial restoration and empower me with divine ideas, strength, and favour for wealth creation in Jesus’ mighty name.

  • Pray To Recover All Wasted Opportunities

Ephesians 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Redeeming the time means recovering opportunities missed due to ignorance, fear, or attack. It is like a gardener returning to a neglected field, seeds that were buried or wasted are replanted, nurtured, and brought to full harvest. God restores doors that were once closed, making it possible to catch up on lost seasons and maximize every new opportunity. He gives divine wisdom to make up for what was delayed or missed.

Prayer: Father, redeem my time; reopen every opportunity I lost and grant me grace to maximize my new season in Jesus’ mighty name.

  1. Pray To Recover Your Peace

John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Jesus restores peace stolen by battles, trauma, fear, or delay. His peace is like a calm shield placed over a stormy sea, though the winds roar beneath, the surface becomes still under His command. Peace is not the absence of problems but the presence of Christ ruling the heart. Divine recovery includes emotional stability, mental rest, and spiritual quietness. When Jesus gives peace, nothing has the authority to take it away.

Prayer: Lord, restore my peace; silence every storm troubling my mind, heart, and destiny in Jesus’ mighty name.”

  1. Pray to Recover Your Joy

Psalm 51:12 “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”

Joy strengthens recovery. When joy returns, hope, strength, and clarity return. It is like a lamp that suddenly gets fresh oil, its light becomes bright again, driving away shadows and revealing the path ahead. In the same way, when God restores your joy, your inner strength rises, your vision becomes clear, and your heart comes alive again. Joy is a spiritual engine that fuels progress and restores vitality to your walk with God.

Prayer: Father, restore to me the joy of my salvation; revive my spirit and renew my passion, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  1. Pray to Recover Your Destiny

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

God’s plans cannot be cancelled by losses, setbacks, or attacks. Restoration realigns you to divine destiny. It is like a ship that drifts off course in a storm, yet the Captain resets the compass and guides it back to the exact route leading to its destination. No matter how far life has pushed you off track, God’s plan pulls you back into alignment. Destiny recovery means God restores your direction, your purpose, and your God-ordained future.

Prayer: Lord, redirect my life into Your perfect plan; restore my destiny pathways and realign me with Your divine purpose, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  1. Pray to Recover Your Faith

Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Faith fuels recovery. When faith rises, miracles follow. It is like a fire that grows stronger every time fresh wood is added, when the Word of God enters your heart, it adds fuel that makes the flame of faith burn brighter and stronger. When faith is restored, courage returns, hope awakens, and the impossible becomes possible. God rebuilds your inner confidence through His Word until you stand again with boldness and expectation.

Prayer: Father, revive my faith; let Your Word rebuild my confidence for full recovery in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

  1. Pray To Overtake All Your Enemies

Obadiah 1:17 “But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”

On Mount Zion, deliverance and possession meet. Recovery does not stop at freedom; it includes taking back what belongs to you. It is like a runner who was pushed off the track, but once restored, he doesn’t just return to the race, he gains supernatural speed, overtakes those ahead of him, and crosses the finish line first. God empowers you not only to break free from oppression but also to outrun every enemy and reclaim every territory, blessing, and inheritance ordained for your life.

Prayer: Lord, empower me to overtake and possess every territory You ordained for me in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

DECLARATION

In the name of Jesus, I decree that this is your season of divine restoration. Every loss in your life, spiritual, emotional, financial, relational, and destiny-related, is restored with supernatural speed. I declare that the hand of the Lord rests upon you like Elijah, empowering you to outrun delays, overtake obstacles, and recover everything stolen. Your steps are ordered, your strength is renewed, and your path is cleared by the power of God.

I declare that lost years are restored, wasted opportunities return, and divine compensation flows into your life. Reject stagnation, backwardness, and limitation. Every spiritual thief is arrested, and everything stolen from your life is recovered in multiple folds. Step into God’s covenant of recovery, double honour, double favour, double breakthrough.

Doors that were shut open for you and your family permanently. Health is restored, peace is restored, joy is restored, glory is restored, and destiny is restored. Walk in divine acceleration. Move from delay to fulfillment, from loss to abundance, from weeping to rejoicing, from battle to victory.

I decree that no power can stop your restoration. No delay can hinder your manifestation. No altar can resist your advancement. Receive grace, strength, and divine help to recover all. Walk in the fullness of God’s promise. This is your season of restoration, acceleration, and divine recovery. You are recovering all, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
