Many believers unknowingly live under the influence of evil covenants. These covenants can be agreements made by ancestors, family members, or even yourself, either knowingly or unknowingly, through words, rituals, vows, or associations with ungodly systems. Such covenants can limit progress, attract repeated failures, bring sickness, delay breakthroughs, and allow the enemy access to your life.

A covenant is like a contract in the spiritual realm: once established, it gives legal ground to the enemy. Whether it is spoken over your life, signed with ritualistic blood, or entered into through habitual sin, it can bind your destiny. Breaking these covenants requires you identifying them, invoking the authority of Jesus Christ, and calling upon God’s Word to cancel them. An evil covenant is like a locked gate obstructing your path. Until the key of divine intervention is applied, your progress is blocked. Prayer, prophetic declarations, and the blood of Jesus act as the key, unlocking the gate and reversing its effects.

The Scriptures affirm God’s power over every covenant. Isaiah 54:17 states: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment shall be condemned.” Every evil covenant is nullified when it is brought under God’s authority. Galatians 3:13 also confirms that Christ has redeemed us from every curse, including covenant curses, by becoming a curse for us.

Reversing covenants is crucial for spiritual freedom. It ensures that your life, family, finances, health, and destiny are aligned with God’s will. Persistent prayer, declarations, and applying God’s Word will uproot every evil covenant, restoring blessings, opening doors of favour, and guaranteeing supernatural acceleration.

Prayers

1. Identifying and Breaking Ancestral Covenants

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

“I, the Lord your God, visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children…” Ancestral covenants are like inherited chains. God provides the authority to break them through repentance and intercession. Once broken, the legal ground for generational curses is removed, restoring freedom and blessings.

Prayers: Father, I break every ancestral covenant limiting my destiny; release me from generational curses and restore blessings today.

• Nullifying Ungodly Vows

Ecclesiastes 5:5 “Better is it that you should not vow than that you should vow and not pay.”

Ungodly vows are spiritual contracts. They act like unbreakable chains unless cancelled through repentance and God’s intervention. Breaking them frees your life. In today’s world, people often make promises quickly: “I’ll pay you back next week.” “I’ll help you with that project.” “God, if You help me pass this exam, I’ll serve You more.”

But many of these promises are made emotionally, under pressure, or without real intention to follow through.

Prayers:

• Father, I confess and repent of every rash, emotional, or unwise vow I have made. Forgive me, wash me clean, and free me from any burden or guilt attached to those words.

• Lord, I renounce and break agreement with every careless vow that contradicts Your Word, Your peace, or Your purpose for my life. Let every hasty commitment be nullified in Jesus’ name.
• Cancelling Occult Covenants

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Occult covenants are like spyware in your spiritual life. God’s Word exposes and destroys them, protecting your destiny from manipulation. God wants His people to seek Him alone for guidance, protection, and spiritual insight—not through occult means. These practices are rejected by God because they rely on dark or deceptive spiritual sources instead of His truth.

Prayers:

• Father, nullify every occult covenant affecting my life; destroy their power and release my destiny today.

• Father, I renounce every form of witchcraft, divination, or ungodly spiritual practice, and I ask You to cleanse my heart and mind from anything that displeases You.

• Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me seek You alone for guidance, strength, and protection.
• Redeemed from Curse

Galatians 3:13 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.”

Every covenant of curse is rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Like erasing a debt, God cancels spiritual obligations. If you are in Christ, you are no longer under the curse of sin or legalistic condemnation. Instead, you live under God’s grace and blessing.

Prayers:

• Father, I thank You that Christ has redeemed me from every curse of the law. I claim freedom, forgiveness, and restoration through His sacrifice.

• In Jesus’ name, I break every personal, ancestral, or generational curse over my life, and I declare victory, blessings, and favour as Your child.

• Lord, let the blood of Jesus cancel every evil covenant and curse assigned to me; release total freedom today.
• . Recovering Finances

Malachi 3:10 “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Covenants can block financial flow. God opens heavens to release resources like a faucet turned on after years of blockage. Tithing is not just a duty; it is a way to experience God’s provision, favour, and abundant blessings in your life.

Prayer:

• Father, I bring my tithes and offerings to You in faith, trusting in Your promise to provide and bless abundantly.
• Lord, open the windows of heaven over my life, pour out Your favour and provision, and help me be faithful with all You have entrusted to me.

• Father, restore every financial loss caused by evil covenants; pour out blessings and increase abundantly today.

• Cast Down Every Legal Grounds

2 Corinthians 10:5 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

Evil covenants gain ground through agreements or accusations. God allows you to demolish these legal grounds spiritually. Victory over life’s challenges often begins in the mind. By aligning your thoughts with Christ, you walk in spiritual authority and peace.

Prayers:

• Lord, cast down every legal ground that sustains evil covenants; let my life be free and victorious today.
• Father, help me cast down every imagination, doubt, fear, or thought that exalts itself against Your truth.

• Lord, I bring every thought into obedience to Christ, asking You to renew my mind and strengthen me to walk in victory.

• Healing Relationships

Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Covenants often sow relational strife. God heals and restores relationships like repairing broken bridges. Your words are spiritual seeds. Speak life, faith, and blessing, not curses, negativity, or fear.

Prayers:

• Lord, restore every relationship damaged by evil covenants; bring peace, reconciliation, and divine favour today.

• Father, help me speak life, blessings, and encouragement over myself, my family, and those around me.

• Lord, forgive me for any negative or destructive words, and teach me to control my tongue so every word aligns with Your truth.
• Breaking Bloodline Agreements

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Bloodline covenants act like inherited debts. God cancels them, freeing generations from bondage. is accountable for their own actions—not for the sins of their parents or children. Likewise, each person’s righteousness or wickedness affects only them.

In short: you are responsible for your own choices, not someone else’s.

Prayers:

• Father, break every bloodline covenant affecting my destiny; release generational blessings today.

• Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You release me and my family from every consequence, burden, or cycle connected to the errors of my parents or my own past. Let Your mercy speak for us.

• Lord, break every pattern, influence, or limitation that has tried to follow our family because of past mistakes. Let every chain be broken and every hidden weight be lifted by Your power.
• Father, restore everything that has been affected and cover my family with Your protection, wisdom, and peace. Lead us into freedom, righteousness, and new beginnings according to Your will.
• Dissolve Soul Ties

1 Corinthians 6:17 “But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”

Covenants can form spiritual ties. God severs these ties like cutting cords tying a bird to a tree. When you become one spirit with the Lord, your deepest spiritual connection is with Him, not with any person, relationship, or past attachment. Soul ties, emotional, sexual, or spiritual bonds with others, cannot control or dominate someone whose spirit is united with Christ. Soul ties often create dependency, emotional bondage, or lingering influence. This verse reminds you that your identity, life, and spirit belong to Jesus. When you understand that, it gives you authority to break ties that are not from God.

Being “one spirit” with Christ means His Spirit is in you. That gives you the authority to renounce, break, and cancel unhealthy soul ties. Every emotional, mental, sexual, or spiritual connection that conflicts with God’s will can be severed because your life is now anchored in Him. After a soul tie is broken, that space can feel empty. 1 Corinthians 6:17 assures you that the Holy Spirit now occupies and fills your spirit, leaving no room for ungodly attachments to return. Your union with Christ brings wholeness, peace, and spiritual security.

Prayer:

• Lord, sever every ungodly soul tie formed through evil covenants; release me into freedom today.

• Father, because I am one spirit with Christ, I detach my identity from every person, memory, or relationship that does not align with Your will.

• Lord, by the authority of my union with You, I break every unhealthy soul tie, emotional, sexual, spiritual, or mental, that has connected itself to me.

• I release (name) from my spirit, emotions, and expectations. I bless them and hand them over to Your care. I choose freedom for myself and freedom for them.

• Holy Spirit, fill every place where unhealthy attachments were removed, and let my heart be fully joined to You alone.
• Breaking Hidden Manipulations

Psalm 91:7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Covenants can work secretly. God protects like a fortress, nullifying hidden manipulations. when danger or negative influences surround you, God’s covering keeps them from controlling or destroying you. God gives clarity, strength, and spiritual resistance against unseen pressures, fear, or emotional control. What affects others doesn’t have to reach you; His presence separates you from traps, confusion, and manipulation, empowering you to stand free and protected.

Prayers:

• Father, expose and destroy all hidden manipulations from evil covenants; secure my life permanently today.

• Let every hidden manipulation fall away from me and not come near my life.

• Cover my mind, my decisions, and my spirit with Your protection so I walk in clarity and freedom.

• Let Your truth shield me from every unseen influence and let only Your will stand in my life.

1. Nullifying Spirit Husbandry/Attached Covenants

Matthew 18:18 Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Spirit attachment covenants act like spiritual chains. God’s authority binds them and releases freedom.
You have authority to reject any influence or attachment that contradicts God’s will. “Binding” means refusing agreement with fear, unhealthy patterns, or spiritual pressures. “Loosing” means embracing God’s freedom, peace, and identity. In relation to nullifying spirit husbandry or attached covenants, this verse affirms you can break unwanted emotional or spiritual ties and release yourself into God’s protection and wholeness, with heaven backing your decision.

Prayer:

• Lord, nullify every spirit husbandry and attachment covenant; break every spiritual chain today.

• By the authority of Christ Jesus, I bind every influence, attachment, or agreement that is not from God, and I declare it has no power over my life.

• I loose myself into God’s freedom, peace, and wholeness. Every covenant, spoken, imagined, emotional, or spiritual, is cancelled, and only God’s will stands in my life from today onward.

1. Release My Destiny Oh God

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

God knew, formed, and set you apart for your purpose even before birth. Your destiny is intentional, preordained, and sacred. Praying “Release my destiny, Oh God” asks Him to activate what He placed in you, remove obstacles, and align your life with His original plan. Even if life has caused delays or distractions, God’s design for your gifts, calling, and purpose remains intact and ready to manifest.

Covenants can derail destiny like roadblocks. God restores your path like clearing debris from a highway.

Prayer:

• Father, release every stolen destiny from evil covenants; restore my purpose and assignment today.

• Father, activate my preordained destiny. Remove obstacles, delays, and distractions. Release my gifts, calling, and assignment. Align my life fully with Your perfect plan for glory.

• Lord, restore and release my destiny. Break every chain holding me back. Lead me into the purpose You ordained, fulfilling Your plan and reflecting Your glory

1. Break Repetition of Failure

Philippians 3:13 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

Covenants often cause repeated failures. God breaks cycles, stopping a recurring glitch in a system. Dwelling on past mistakes can trap you in cycles of repeated failure. God’s word calls you to release the past and stop letting it define you. Success, breakthrough, and destiny require looking ahead. Philippians 3:13 encourages action and faith in what is coming, not what has already gone wrong. By concentrating on God’s purpose and the path He sets, you to avoid repeating the same mistakes. Intentional forward movement breaks cycles. God’s grace is always available for a fresh start. Moving forward under His guidance ensures past failures do not dictate your future.

Prayer:

• Lord, break every cycle of failure caused by evil covenants; let my life progress with victory today.

• Lord, I release every past failure and regret. Help me forget what is behind and press forward into Your purpose, walking in victory and divine alignment today.

• Heavenly Father, break every cycle of repeated mistakes in my life. Empower me to focus on the future, embrace Your plan, and fulfill my God-given destiny.

1. Seal Your Freedom Permanently

Psalm 125:2 “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.”

God’s protection surrounds you like a mountain range, preventing evil covenants from further penetration. Freedom is secured permanently. God’s permanent protection and surrounding presence. Just as mountains form a natural, unshakable barrier around Jerusalem, God encircles His people with His protection, stability, and security, nothing can easily penetrate it. Freedom in Christ is secure because God surrounds and guards you continually, like mountains around a city. No attack or oppression can permanently disrupt His work in you. Your liberty is not just a momentary experience, it is sealed by God’s eternal presence, ensuring lasting deliverance from fear, bondage, or oppression. Mountains don’t easily move; likewise, when God’s power surrounds your life, your freedom cannot be easily shaken or taken away. Being encircled by God ensures that spiritual, emotional, and circumstantial forces cannot re-enslave you. Your freedom is firmly anchored in Him.

Prayers:

• Father, seal me from every evil covenant; let no covenant, curse, or manipulation affect me again today.

• Lord, surround me like the mountains surround Jerusalem. Seal my freedom permanently. Protect me from every attack, bondage, and oppression, and establish my liberty forever in Your presence.

• Heavenly Father, encircle my life with Your eternal protection. Let no force, circumstance, or enemy reverse my freedom. Anchor me in Him.

DECLARATION

In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare that every evil covenant made knowingly or unknowingly over your life is broken, nullified, and destroyed. Every covenant from ancestors, family, occult, or personal error loses all power today. I cancel every agreement that the enemy has used to limit your progress, delay your breakthroughs, and steal your blessings.

I declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, sealing you from every covenant curse. Every spiritual chain, soul tie, or legal ground created by these covenants is destroyed by fire. Recover every stolen blessing, destiny, opportunity, and inheritance.

I decree divine freedom over your health, family, finances, relationships, and purpose. The enemy has no legal right to interfere with your life. Every curse, plot, or spiritual attack related to evil covenants backfires in Jesus’ name. Amen.

From today, you are walking in supernatural liberty, favour, and acceleration. you are free from generational, ancestral, occult, or self-made covenants. Your life, destiny, and blessings are secured, preserved, and prosperous in Christ. No weapon, ritual, or assignment against you shall prosper. I declare total victory, supernatural protection, and unstoppable progress over your life and every member of your family.
