Bible Reading: Ezekiel 13:18–23
18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?
19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Memory verse: Deuteronomy 32:17 “They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.”
Beloved, every one of us has a destiny, a divine purpose, a calling, and a future designed by God. Destiny is not just about where you are going, but about the assignment God has placed on your life. It is the reason you were created and the path God wants you to walk in, to glorify Him.
Just as in the physical world we have markets where people buy and sell, there is also a spiritual market. In a physical market, money is exchanged for goods. In the spiritual market, destinies can be exchanged, sold, or hijacked through deception, sin, and ungodly agreements. This is why many people live below God’s plan for their lives. Some are working hard, but their destiny has been tampered with. Others are praying, but they are tied down by spiritual covenants they do not even understand.
The Bible gives us a picture of this in Obadiah 1:11. It says, “On the day you stood aloof or irresponsive while strangers carried off his wealth and foreigners entered his gates and cast lots for Jerusalem, you were like one of them.” Just as goods were taken from Jerusalem, destinies can also be carried away in the spirit.
The devil uses different methods to trade people’s destinies:
- Deceit, as in the case of Esau who sold his birthright for food.
- Sin, which opens the door for the enemy to gain control; and
- Ungodly covenants, which tie destinies to evil altars.
These trading grounds include evil altars, wrong relationships like Samson and Delilah, and careless agreements or vows that enslave a person.
But the good news is this: in Christ Jesus, there is deliverance and restoration. God has made a way for every destiny that has been tampered with to be recovered. Through the blood of Jesus, every ungodly covenant can be broken. Through prayer and godly living, every destiny can be preserved.
So, as we go deeper into this message in our prayers today, I want you to open your heart. Understand that there is indeed a market for destinies, but also believe that by the power of God, your destiny will not be lost, and if it has been stolen, it shall be restored in Jesus’ name.

- Thanksgiving for God’s Destiny Plan – A Destiny Designed by God
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Before any destiny can be marketed, exchanged, or manipulated, God already authored it. Thanksgiving establishes divine ownership over your destiny and removes it from unauthorized hands.
Prayer Points:
- Father, I thank You because my destiny was designed by You and not by man.
- Lord, I declare that Your plan for my life will stand and prosper.
- I reject every competing agenda against my future, in Jesus’ name.
- Repentance and Cleansing from Sin: Closing Legal Access to Destiny Markets
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Sin creates legal access points through which destinies can be manipulated. Repentance shuts every door the enemy uses to trade, delay, or divert destiny.
Prayer Points:
- Father, forgive me for every sin that has exposed my destiny to manipulation.
- Cleanse me completely by the blood of Jesus.
- I reclaim my destiny from every place, or sin that gave the enemy access to my destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Deliverance from Deception: Rescuing Destinies from Lies
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Deception is a primary currency in evil destiny markets. Lies cause people to trade eternal purpose for temporary gain.
Prayer Points:
- Father, deliver me from every lie designed to divert my destiny.
- Expose every deception meant to make me exchange purpose for pleasure.
- Align my steps permanently with Your truth and Word in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Breaking Ungodly Covenants: Cancelling Destiny Transactions
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Evil markets operate on covenants. Through the cross, Jesus cancelled every legal claim over your destiny.
Prayer Points:
- By the blood of Jesus, I break every evil covenant affecting my destiny.
- I withdraw my destiny from every altar of agreement with darkness.
- I enforce Christ’s victory over every power trading with my future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Shutting Evil Altars: Destroying Destiny Marketplaces
Judges 6:25 And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:26 And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.
Altars are transaction points where destinies are negotiated. Until evil altars are destroyed, destiny manipulation continues.
Prayer Points:
- Every evil altar speaking against my destiny, be destroyed by fire.
- Let every voice trading with my future be silenced permanently.
- I declare that God’s altar alone governs my life and lineage in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Separation from Wrong Relationships: Leaving Destiny Markets
Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Wrong relationships act as access agents in destiny markets. Separation is preservation.
Prayer Points:
- Lord, disconnect me from every destiny-draining relationship.
- Align me with helpers of destiny and godly associations.
- Let my circle protect, not trade, my future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Freedom from Evil Agreements: Reclaiming Destiny Authority
Proverbs 6:2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
You have been trapped by what you said…Words can sign spiritual contracts. Evil markets thrive on careless declarations.
Prayer Points:
- Lord, release me from every ungodly agreement made by my words.
- I revoke every spoken authorization against my destiny.
- From today, my words will build and preserve my future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Restoration of Stolen Destiny: Recovering from Evil Markets
Joel 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten…”God will not only stop destiny theft, He restores what was sold, wasted, or stolen.
Prayer Points:
- Lord, restore every year and opportunity stolen from my destiny.
- Let my glory, virtue, and progress be fully recovered.
- I receive sevenfold restoration, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Deliverance from Generational Manipulation: Ending Inherited Markets
Lamentations 5:7 Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.
Some destinies are traded before birth through ancestral patterns. The blood of Jesus ends generational transactions.
Prayer Points:
- By the blood of Jesus, I break every ancestral covenant affecting my destiny.
- Let generational patterns of loss and delay end with me.
- I establish a new godly lineage for my future. in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Victory Over the Enemy’s Market: Reclaiming Destiny Goods
Obadiah 1:11 In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.
Evil markets gather to divide inheritance. God restores what strangers have taken.
Prayer Points:
- Father, scatter every gathering where my destiny is being traded.
- Restore every blessing looted from my life.
- Secure my gates against destiny hijackers in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Divine Boldness to Protect Destiny: Confronting Destiny Traders
Proverbs 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
The righteous are bold as a lion. Fear allows destiny theft; boldness enforces destiny security.
Prayer Points:
- Lord, clothe me with boldness to defend my destiny.
- Remove fear and hesitation from my spirit.
- Empower me to stand firm against every enemy scheme in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Establishment Godly Altars: Transferring Destiny Ownership
Psalm 50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
When destiny is established on God’s altar, it is removed from every counterfeit marketplace.
Prayer Points:
- Father, establish my destiny on Your covenant altar.
- Let prayer, worship, and sacrifice preserve my future.
- Disconnect my destiny from every ungodly altar permanently in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Fulfilment of Destiny: Completing God’s Work
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Destiny markets aim to interrupt completion. God ensures fulfilment.
Prayer Points:
- Father, perfect every good work You have begun in my life.
- Let nothing hinder the completion of my destiny.
- I declare full manifestation of God’s purpose for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Final Seal of Destiny Security: Long Life and Fulfilment
Psalm 91:16 “With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
Premature death is the final strategy of destiny markets. God seals destiny with longevity and fulfilment.
Prayer Points:
- Father, satisfy me with long life and divine fulfilment.
- Preserve my destiny from premature death.
- Let me live to complete and enjoy my God-ordained future in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Declaration
In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare over these Your children today that their destinies are secured in God’s hand. According to Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord’s good plan for your life will stand, and no power of darkness will divert you. By the blood of Jesus, every sin, guilt, or covenant that opened the door to destiny manipulation is broken. Your destiny will not be exchanged for temporary gain like Esau’s, for you are set free from every deception of the enemy in the name of Jesus.
I decree that every evil altar speaking against your life is destroyed, and godly altars of prayer and worship are raised to preserve your future. Every wrong relationship draining your strength is disconnected, and you are connected to divine helpers. Every stolen virtue and opportunity is restored sevenfold to you, for the Lord says in Joel 2:25: “I will restore all your wasted years.”
I declare that you shall not die before your time. With long life the Lord will satisfy you and show you His salvation You will fulfil your destiny, walk in boldness, and enter the fullness of God’s purpose, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration to Partners
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare over every faithful partner of this ministry that your destiny shall shine brighter and brighter. Because you have chosen to stand with the work of God, you will not miss your reward. According to Jeremiah 29:11, the good plans of the Lord concerning you and your household shall surely come to pass.
Every voice raised against your destiny is silenced in the name of Jesus. Evil altars and ungodly covenants are broken, and your life is established upon the altar of the living God. Every virtue, opportunity, and blessing that has been stolen from you is restored sevenfold, for the Lord has promised, “I will restore the years the locust has eaten”
I decree that no wrong relationship, no deceit of the enemy, and no hidden agreement shall derail your destiny. You are preserved, prospered, and empowered to fulfil the assignment of God. With long life the Lord will satisfy you, and you shall see His salvation
Partners, you will flourish, your resources will multiply, and your generations will be blessed. You shall fulfil destiny gloriously, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
