Spiritual Communication Can Originate from Creation Itself

Text: Romans 1:19–22

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Spiritual Communication Can Originate from Creation Itself

Memory verse: Memory Verse: Psalm 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”

Creation itself is a powerful channel through which God communicates His existence, power, wisdom, and order. The natural world; heavens, earth, seasons, plants, animals, and natural processes, reveals spiritual truths and reflects God’s nature. Creation communicates without words, yet its message is clear to those who observe with spiritual awareness. It demonstrates God’s greatness, faithfulness, and intentional design.

The order and consistency of creation communicate God’s reliability. The rising and setting of the sun, the changing of seasons, and the growth of plants all show divine order and timing. These natural processes teach principles such as patience, growth, renewal, and divine provision. For example, seeds grow over time, showing that divine promises also unfold through process and timing.

Creation also communicates warnings and lessons. Natural consequences reveal spiritual principles such as sowing and reaping. Just as neglect leads to decay in nature, neglect in spiritual life leads to weakness. Likewise, growth and fruitfulness in nature reflect the results of proper care and nourishment. Through creation, God reveals invisible truths in visible forms to help human understanding.

When spiritually attentive, you can recognize God’s wisdom, power, and faithfulness through creation. It strengthens faith and reminds you that the same God who sustains creation is able to sustain your life. Creation serves as a constant reminder of God’s presence and authority.

Action Plans:

  • Observe creation regularly with gratitude, recognizing that the power of God and faithfulness is revealed through it.
  • Reflect on natural processes to understand spiritual principles like growth, patience, and timing.
  • Strengthen your faith by acknowledging God as the Creator and Sustainer of your life.

COVENANT GATE HYMNALS 110: JOY FROM GOD’S CREATIONBy Apostle James Abache

  1. O Lord, the earth declares Your name,

Your glory spreads through sky aflame.

The mountains rise, the rivers sing,

All nature crowns You as its King.

We lift our hearts, our voices raise,

To join creation’s song of praise.

Refrain:

Joy, joy, the gift divine,

In every leaf, Your love does shine.

The stars above, the seas below,

Proclaim the joy that makes hearts glow.

  1. The fields of gold, the forest green,

Reveal the beauty yet unseen.

Each flower blooms by Your design,

A masterpiece of love divine.

The birds in flight, the winds that soar,

Speak of Your joy forevermore.

  1. The morning sun, the evening light,

Declare Your mercy day and night.

The gentle rain, the thunder’s roar,

Reflect Your power we adore.

Through all You’ve made, Your truth is clear,

Your joy sustains, Your love draws near.

  1. So let us walk with open eyes,

To see the wonders You supply.

And may our hearts in worship be,

A song of joy eternally.

For in Your world, Your hand we trace,

And find our joy within Your grace.
