THE GOSPEL CHANGES EVERYTHING

A Converted Heart

THE GOSPEL CHANGES EVERYTHING

Text: Romans 12:1-2

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

THE GOSPEL CHANGES EVERYTHING

Memory verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

The gospel does not make bad people good, it makes dead people live. It goes beyond reforming habits to transforming hearts. The moment a person encounters the true gospel, something supernatural happens, the old nature dies, and a new life begins.

The gospel changes everything because it is rooted in the finished work of Christ. Jesus did not come to improve our human condition; He came to replace it with divine life. His death ended the reign of sin, and His resurrection released the power of righteousness. Through the gospel, we receive not just forgiveness but a new identity, as sons and daughters of God.

Where sin once ruled, grace now reigns. Where guilt once condemned, mercy now speaks. Where fear once bound, faith now lifts. The gospel gives meaning to life, direction to destiny, and hope to the hopeless. It transforms marriages, restores families, and revives nations, not by policy, but by power.

Every revival in history was born out of the rediscovery of the gospel. When believers return to its simplicity and power, the fire of God falls again. That is why the enemy fights to distort, dilute, or distract from the true message of Christ. But the gospel remains unstoppable because it is the very breath of God’s love to humanity.

Hold fast to this truth: the gospel is not changing it is the change. When you believe it, you become its expression. You carry divine life to a dying world.

COVENANT GATE HYMNALS 100 THE RESURRECTION AND LIFE IN THE SPIRIT: By Apostle James Abache

  1. There is a life reserved for the poor body at last,

Though it lies in the dust, in death so vast.

The Spirit of God, who raised Christ from the dead,

Shall quicken our bodies, by His power led.

Refrain:

He that raised up Christ, shall raise us too,

From corruption to glory, in light anew.

By His Spirit that dwells, He shall make us whole,

Resurrected in body, renewed in soul.

  1. Though our bodies lie broken, cast down with the dust,

God remembers His covenant, in Him we trust.

The body shall rise, clothed in glory divine,

Like Christ, our Savior, in beauty will shine.

  1. O grave, where’s your victory, where’s your sting?

For Christ has triumphed, and life He will bring.

The Spirit of God now quickens our frame,

And we shall rise, forever His name!

  1. The body of saints, though weary and torn,

Shall rise in strength, to be reborn.

In the temple of flesh, His Spirit resides,

Through Him we shall live, where glory abides.

Bridge:

So walk in the Spirit, not after the flesh,

For He will transform you, make you afresh.

Our bodies, though frail, shall be raised in His might,

And clothed in His glory, with joy and delight!

Outro:

Hallelujah! He lives, and we shall live too,

By His Spirit, we rise, forever made new.

He that raised up Christ, shall raise us to stand,

In glory eternal, at His right hand!

Today’s Prayer

  1. Father, let the power of the gospel manifest in every area of my life, turning weakness to strength and shame to glory in Jesus’ name.
  2. Lord, use me as an instrument of Your transforming gospel to bring life, hope, and healing to others around me.
  3. Father, let the gospel break every chain of sin and blindness over the hearts of men and women across the nations. Let revival fire spread again!
