Text: Ephesians 1:19-20
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
THE POWER OF RESURRECTION LIFE: Daily Strength and Boldness for Living
Memory verse: Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
This resurrection was not a one-day miracle, it is a continual flow of divine strength available to every believer. When Jesus rose from the dead, He did not just prove that He is alive; He transferred that same life to us. Resurrection life is not only about escaping the grave, it is about living with heavenly energy on earth.
Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:10, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection.” This power strengthens us to face daily challenges with courage and hope. Like a lamp connected to an unending power source, the believer who abides in Christ draws strength that cannot be exhausted by trials.
In Ephesians 1:19-20, Apostle Paul describes “the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead.” This is the same energy that rolled away the stone still working within us to roll away fear, weakness, and discouragement.
When the early disciples were threatened and persecuted, they drew strength from the risen Christ.
They prayed, and the place shook, not because of their numbers, but because the boldness of the resurrection was alive in them Acts 4:31. The Holy Spirit, who raised Jesus, fills us with courage that defies circumstances. Every time we refuse fear, speak truth, and choose faith, the resurrection power manifests afresh.
Resurrection life gives stamina to stand when others faint and courage to speak when silence seems safer. It replaces anxiety with peace, weakness with endurance, and timidity with divine confidence. It reminds us daily that the same Jesus who conquered death lives inside us therefore, nothing can conquer us.
Live each day conscious that the risen Christ is your strength. You are not running on human effort; you are powered by heaven’s victory.
COVENANT GATE HYMNALS 11; SS & S 811: FEAR NOT GOD IS THY SHIELD
-
-
- Fear not! God is thy shield,
And He thy great reward;
His might has won the field:
Thy strength is in the Lord!
Refrain:
Fear not! ‘tis God’s own voice
That speaks to thee this word;
Lift up your head: rejoice
In Jesus Christ thy Lord.- Fear not! for God has heard
The cry of thy distress;
The water of His word
Thy fainting soul shall bless.
- Fear not! be not dismayed!
He evermore will be
With thee, to give His aid,
And He will strengthen thee.
- Fear not! ye little flock;
Your Shepherd soon will come,
Give water from the rock,
And bring you to His home!
- Fear not! God is thy shield,
